2005 -------
I have two large (1mb and 600k respectively) .psw files that will not load in
OOo Writer (version 1.9.79). They are extremely simple files, all text with bold
headings.
The first file as a .psw causes a "General Error - General input\output error"
when loaded, and when converted using ActiveSync, fills the content.xml file
with invalid characters, causing Writer to give "Format error discovered in the
file in sub-document content.xml at 902,40(row,col)".
The second file as a .psw simply gives an empty document, and when converted
using ActiveSync, outputs an empty (0 bytes) .sxw file.
Both files load correctly in Pocket Word and Word 2003. Copying their contents
to a new .psw document causes the same error, but subsections do not. I will
attempt to isolate the problem piece(s) of text.
