------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu May 10 21:02:39 +0000 2007 ------- When loading a document using fonts that are not installed Openoffice automatically substitutes for the default font. The user's font replacement settings are then applied AFTER this. This presents a problem in the following case: I have install the GPL2 font Liberation Sans and want to use it when a document requests Arial (not installed). However, I want my default Openoffice font to remain Bitstream. When I open an Arial document OOo replaces Arial with Bitstream instead of obeying the entry in Options->Tools->Font Replacement and using Liberation Sans. The solution is OOo needs to apply the userss Font Replacement table before correcting for any missing fonts. At the moment the only way of replacing MS fonts with Redhat's Liberation fonts automatically is to install the MS fonts first!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
