------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Mar 7 07:33:20 -0800 2005 ------- The "preamble" on both files seems to be different to the one expected in the XMerge Plugin. The first 16 bytes are the same, but the following 32 bytes are different: File 1 = 0200 180A 0200 0A00 8100 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0100 0100 0000 0100 0000 0000 File 2 = 0200 6800 0200 0800 0500 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0100 0100 0000 0000 0100 0000 Generating other files with PocketWord, I get several other headers different from expected, leading me to believe that this information is not constant, as indicated in the converter source. Specifically bytes 3 - 8 are different and the last 16 shown. Opening the corrupt .sxm file with WinRar, I extracted the content.xml file and noticed that it was outputting garbage for every punctuation character in the file. This problem may have something to do with MS Word converting them to double-byte chars (ie: converting ... to a single '...' character). I can't verify whether this is the cause for the other file, since it doesn't give any output. My PocketPC is an HP iPaq rx3715 running Windows Mobile 2003 SE. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
