------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 15 11:24:34 +0000 2007 ------- Hi there This follows from bug 77368. I think that the standard way that academic writers work with references would be to insert them as they go along. For myself, I get hold of a journal article, I read it, I add it to my bibliographic database (jabref in my case) then I write something about it and add a citation. Then I move on to the next thing. I think that very rarely would users want to insert multiple bibliographic entries from this dialog, which was given as the reason for the present behaviour. The present behaviour could be maintained by *added* a new 'insert+close' button wtih default ENTER key binding, and the current 'insert' button could be left there and could be tabbed to or bound to ctrl-enter, perhaps.
