------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 21 21:19:52 +0000 2007 ------- Sometimes when I copy paste from the command line (GNOME Terminal 2.18.0) I get a window asking me how to format the text. When I get this window the pasted text is always a blank rectangle the size of one line, regardless of any setting in the popup window. I find it very frustrating that I can't disable this feature that steels so much time from me. Not only in this case where OO is flat out broken, but any time the text is formatted I always have to burn time normalizing the text. This flaw is similar to this one: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=5963 I disagree with this sentence: "99% of the time you just want the text, not the formatting." In 20 years of using word processing I can safely say I have not once had any desire to use this auto-magical formatting feature. Why on earth is it default? Over all open office is really great software, but i simply cannot stand to have this feature by default. peace --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
