------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu May 24 05:48:03 +0000 2007 ------- Some actions could take quite long, e.g. I have a odt file which is 2k pages (~7Mb) with moderate formatting. Save action takes approximately from 1 minute to 2 on modern machines (~2 min on P4 2G on WinXP, ~ 1 min on Turion 2G on Linux). With autosave option on occasionly I'd have to stop working and wait until autosave completes. Having defaut autosave interval pretty small this gets quite annoying unless I change it. Being able to interrupt the (auto)save action at least if it hasn't started writing to the disk e.g. with Esc key would be great improvement especially if I know that I'll be done typing in 30 sec and will save the doc anyway. Similar happens in complex search queries: with big document using moderate to high formatting and using attribute search or using formatting and regexp it may take up to a min halting the program response to user actions. It would be nice to be able stop search action e.g. with same Esc key. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
