------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 25 07:58:05 +0000 2007 ------- Hello Fridrich, it's not possible to "add any filter nor type" to the encoded text dialog. Because this dialog is part of the "writer encoded text" filter. So you ask to make your word perfect filter part of the encoded text filter ... which is not possible in general ... or course. There exists only two solutions: a) You improve your deep detection routine as best as you can .-) b) We have to live with the situation that some formats cant be detected real. The problem is always the same: The format CSV does not exists in real.CSV is an interpretation (!) of text only - nothing else ! Even Excel will interpret every text file as CSV. But if you open a CSV file with word it will be opened as text .-) Which solutions exists for the user to open a CSV file ? 1) Use the right file extension "*.csv". That's important ! As I've already mentioned: CSV isnt realy a well defined file format ... but it's extension is defined and FIX(!). It's CSV - not TDF - nor XLS - nor TXT - nor anything else. 2) If the file does not have the right extension the user have to use preselection. He has to use "scalc.exe <file>.tdf" at the command line ... or to select the CSV filter within the file open dialog.
