------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat May 26 01:26:08 +0000 2007 ------- In some cases it is useful to include presentation slides in a text document. It would be a nice enhancement if an entire presentation could be converted or imported into a text document, but even cut and paste of individual slides would be useful. Unfortunately cut and paste produces a corrupted graphic in the receiving text document. 1. Open a presentation (sample attached). 2. Switch to the "Notes" view, where the slide is shown as a scaled-down graphic. 3. Click the preview--handles will appear. 4. Edit > Copy 5. File > New > Text Document: Switch to a new document window. 6. Edit > Paste The preview graphic is copied but only the background layer is correct. The foreground objects have the wrong scale and are not selectable. The same problem occurs on pasting the slide into a drawing. Pasting the slide into a spreadsheet /almost/ works. The initial appearance is correct, but again, the foreground objects are not selectable, and if the view is zoomed in (e.g. 50%), the foreground objects do not scale along with the background and the sheet contents. The slide should be pasted as a group object so that all the components stay together. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
