Writer, Calc, Impress and Draw all four behave the same. Despite that I
defined paper size as letter for default printer with spadmin and edited
/opt/openoffice.org2.2/share/psprint/driver/SGENPRT.PS to specify Letter size
and also edited /opt/openoffice.org2.2/share/psprint/psprint.conf to specify
PPD_PageSize=Letter, all four applications default to paper size A4 when
accesing Format->Page
This is true for OOo2.0.1 up to OOo2.2. I did not find it in OOo1.1.4 or 1.1.5
I know this behavior was reported for Mexican and Colombian locales but it
seems to be an internal fix.
In Venezuela we use letter sized paper, not A4, as default
