------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jun 4 09:49:10 +0000 2007 ------- "Selective text on right" like the internet explorer option would solve a big UI complaint for me, in that many toolbar icons arenm't descriptive enough, simply due to the nature of toolbars and how many icons there are; it can be very overwhelming compared to the Word 2007 Ribbon toolbar which has text on each icon. Currently, the only way to accomplish this in OO.org is to set each and every toolbar to "icons and text", and then go through each text that you want to get rid of by: 1) renaming it 2) entering a space (blank entry doesn't work) So it would be good for less descriptive toolbar icons or icons you want to have a bigger spot to hit (conform to Fitt's law) like Formatting Paintbrush, etc to have text automatically attached to them, by adding the option "Selective text on right", and by allowing it to be a global toolbar option so you don't have to do this for every toolbar in every OO.org application. This is related to Issue 78071 "allow option to have multi-line toolbars (no chevron)", because then the chevron wouldn't cause issues and it would be more Word 2007 ribbon-like without too much development I hope.. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
