Up to OOo221rc3 you can get formulas in this way: 1. Write the formula text as simple text into the writer document. 2. Mark the formula text. 3. Click on the formula button (that with the square root) You get the formula immediately and can continue writing text. That is a very efficient way to write a formula. If you do it the same way in OOo680m213, then Math opens with the command window. You have two additional clicks, leave Math and then leave the object modus of the formula, before you can continue your text.
