A .Doc file (even if that file was created in OOo and has never been opened by
Microsoft Word), if a paragraph has a bookmark then on re saving in Word format,
that paragraph has all of the style’s attributes directly applied to the 
paragraph.

This is an issue because:
 * When the style is changed the paragraph’s format does not change;
 * A cross reference to a bookmark in Word has the directly applied character
attributes.

This means that it is not possible to have a correctly formatted document,
interoperating between Word and OOo that contains bookmarks and cross
references. I have not found a work around.
