From an ms-windows xp machine (32-bit) with 32-bit binaries I used export to Latex2e and the conversion worked. 2. From Fedora Core 6 (64-bit) with 64-bit binaries the conversion barfed. 3. From Kubuntu (64-bit) with 64-bit binaries the conversion barfs at writing. 4. The install of the official OpenOffice binaries failed, because they are RPM files from a 32-bit environment and alien will not convert: it needs X86_64 binaries. So I cannot check the official build. Is there a way to get me an official 64-bit version of Open Office (.deb if possible)?
