------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jun 14 09:17:51 +0000 2007 ------- OpenOffice (all versions) cannot open a TIFF File that contains the TAG 125h for T6Options We have an application based on PostgrSql, JBoss, Java an OpenOffice. It’s an application for local government and this application have sometimes to manage thousands of tiff documents These tiff documents (saved in a blob in Postgresql) are merged in an openoffice document with other informations for printing and administrative uses. If we try to insert a picture from file in an Open Office Document that contains the Tiff TAG 125h (T6Options) it doesn’t work. If I manualy remove this tag with an hexadecimal editor. This new file works. So, i'm sure the problem comes from this 125h Tiff TAG This file cannot be opened with MSpaint too but can be opened with WANG (Kodak) Imaging for Windows or IBM AFP Viewer. Can we imagine that OpenOffice could bypass or manage this TIFF TAG ? See also the same issue : http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi? id=59436. The sample file contains the TIFF TAG 125h and can't be imported in OO 2.2.0. But it works now on OO 2.2.1 My Tiff file with tag 125h in OO 2.2.1 says Unknow graphic format. For my Tiff File without tag 125h, it's OK Jean-Claude Charlier --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
