------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 8 12:52:01 -0800 2005 ------- In order to simulate Microsoft Word's "First Page Special" feature, I have created a pair of Page Styles in a document template -- one called "First Page" with no header and a footer, and one called "Body" with a header and no footer. I have set the "First Page" page style to use the "Body" page style as its "Next Style." While editing the document, OpenOffice applies the "Body" page style correctly to a new page that is created with a soft page break -- when a new page is created because I continue typing beyond what a single page can handle. However, when I save the document in .doc format, all of the pages that have been created with soft page breaks retain the "First Page" page style; the "Body" page style is only applied to pages that have been created with a hard page break. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
