2007 -------
Currently cross references to a variable, such as Table, get exported as text
when saved in Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.Doc) format.

Steps to reproduce:
New file
Insert a table
Insert a caption to table
Insert > Cross Reference... > References > Table > Table 1 > Reference > Insert
Save the file as Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.Doc) format.
Close the file
Open the file and the cross reference is text rather than a field.

Suggest that on export to Word relevant bookmarks are created for the text in
the paragraph containing the variable and that Word Ref fields are used for the
cross reference.
