When I want to change size I use the mouse and make them bigger. There is a limit to make them as big as the page itself. But it is possible to make the picture bigger using the percent values for horizontal and vertical size in the picture dialog. It would be more convenient to be able to adjust the size also with the mouse and not only using the more time consuming dialog.
