------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jun 24 18:09:40 +0000 2007 ------- mbayer->sus: I committed the changes you suggested to the TeX catalogue. Thanks for you proposal! This doesn't solve the fundamental problem described in this issue, though. I therefore attach a new file with a minimal example to this issue. Its contents will be truncated when the file is saved as DocBook/XML in OOo Writer: the 1st section, starting with a heading 2, will be lost, making the document start with the 2nd section, which starts with a heading 1. Hopefully, this makes this issue easier to reproduce (and easier for others to understand). While I understand that this has to do with DocBook's definition of sections, that need to be "well-nested", I still believe OOo Writer's DocBook export must not be as lossy as it is. It should, at least, notify the user that some error occurred, hence raising some "suspicion" about the resulting file, or stop operation on the error, thus not producing any output at all. That way users at least won't run into the danger of having an incomplete DocBook file without being aware of it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
