User atjensen changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|NEW |RESOLVED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution| |FIXED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jun 24 21:36:05 +0000 2007 ------- Under all versions prior to 2.3 all formatting of the SQL statement is lost when the query is saved and reopened. Using version 2.3 if you edit your query with "Open in SQl View" formatting will be retained, whether or not "run SQL direct" is true. If the user switches to Design view however, all formatting is again lost, IMO that may be a trade off acceptable to experienced database developers. I will close the issue as fixed therefore. CLU- the users comment about 'optimizing' was not about fitting the query to the UI, it was, IMO, just a misunderstanding of what 'Escape Processing' is being used for in Base. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
