I cannot confirm issue. I tried using OOo2.2.1 on winXP and had multiple
instances of "1" (and other search terms) within a document. Search and replace
happily replaced (all at the same time and individually) into what ever format I
wanted (bold, bold and italic, subscript - automatic, super script -
automatic)....
Detailed step by step instructions on reproducing (after upgrade to latest
version) would be required to reopen issue.
