------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jun 27 17:43:43 +0000 2007 ------- Visiting certain tabs of the style editing dialog can cause changes to be logged for the style even though the user has not requested any specific changes. If the user then exits the dialog by 'OK' (either by mistake or by thinking no changes were made, therefore OK==Cancel), the changes will be committed to the style definition. See the attached document for an example. The same problem occurs with these two tabs on any style type that supports them; e.g. Stylist > Frame > Graphics > Background/Border, etc. The problem ONLY occurs when the parent/ancestor style has NO SPECIFIC SETTING for these properties. E.g., opening the sample document and immediately doing (style) Default > Modify > Background = (some color), then following the steps in the document will show the correct behavior for the Background tab.
