I would assume that your system settings have been mingled up somehow. On my XP
system I have four browsers on the system (the mentioned ones and Opera also).
No problem to start the default browser. In the folder options you should
checkthe system settings for html. Maybe it helps to force the browser to check
for default browser at startup. For more information you should refer to the
mailing list '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
