2005 -------
OOo 2.x introduced a complete new presentation engine using SMIL for shape
effects and transitions. This feature also introduced a complete new xml format
for animations. As a consequence, OOo 1.x can not read such animations and
therefore all shape effects and transitions are lost when sharing presentation
documents between OOo 2.x and OOo 1.x

To enable better migration, this issue will resolve the problem that even when
exporting into OOo 1.x document format from a OOo 2.x, no old animation data is
exported.

I will try to map all new effects and transitions as close as possible to the
effects and transitions available in OOo 1.x when a user saves its presentation
document into OOo 1.x format.
