I expect some more records in the database than before. So if someone wants to
use the bibligraphy database for his literature (e.g. for his thesis) he has to
delete the existing records manually. Saving them in a seperate file would avoid
this. The structure of the file should be the same.

So I think, adding a samples.dbf would satisfy both needs.
