------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 12 13:22:02 +0000 2007 ------- Solaris 10 and 11 are working with zones. It's possible to create 'sparse zones' with inherited folders. They are inherited from the global zone. In such a sparse or small zone it's not allowed to write to the inherited folder, even for root. So it's not possible to create the system integration files and links to /usr/bin if /usr /bin is such an inherited folder. It would be very helpful if the Java GUI Installer could verify the required rights for the packages and disable the packages that can't be installed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
