When I try to copy (or cut) and paste some elements with custom animations to an
other slide (both within the same presentation or to an other), all custom
animations are lost. Inserting the entire slide to the other locations DOES
work, however this means an extra slide that doesn't have the make-up of the
current master slide (in case it is copied to an other presentation).

I know it must be hard to place the custom animation if there are already
animations set for the current slide, however the program could ask whether or
not it should import the animations as well. Now I have to re-do all of the
animations :S for a quite elaborate figure.
