I can not reproduce those problems and believe that this issue is invalid-
normally hyperlinks ARE relative in OOo, although they LOOK absolute in the
dialogue boxes. You have to select "document" (not "Internet") if you create
links to files on your harddisk, those relative links will also work on a web
server. So I close this issue.
