User as changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Assigned to|as |pl -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Aug 2 09:37:04 +0000 2007 ------- The problem is the following one: every opened document consumes system resources (here window handles). And after some open documents there are no further handles available. As a result of that the whole system cant open any window (even an attached debugger cant open message boxes ... nor the system start menu can be opened any longer). So it depends from the system you use ... and further from the count of already open windows on your desktop how many office documents can be opened. The only solution can be: our graphic library VCL must detect how many free handles are available and stop opening of new windows if a magic number will be reached. AS->PL: please take over - seams to be more your area .-) ps: there is no stack trace I can send you ... because even the debugger stopped working. Everything I saw was related to VCL controls and windows. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
