------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 10 17:54:56 -0800 2005 ------- I had the same problem (not saving cursor position) with OOo 1.0 and helped myself by painting red the last written word. So I could find it easier after re-opening the document and scrolling down. In OOo 1.1.2 the cursor position was saved and I was able to finish my dissertation (about 100 pages) without searching for the last position (because of lots of images and few memory scolling through the document took about 5 minutes!). If the new standard behaviour will not be changed back, I'll keep on using OOo 1.1.2 (or 1.1.4/5 perhaps) because this feature is essential for larger documents! I think there are more people using WRITER than IMPRESS or BASE, so the great advantages of OOo 2.0 could be drawn back by this.
