sure; the question really is - how can we process incoming calls, when the other
thread holds the VCL mutex. I think it's likely that we need to drop the
GDK_THREADS mutex in the atk-bridge before the CORBA event emission.

On the other hand, now I read gail & atk-bridge we fixed this bug already in
HEAD   - I wonder what version that is in. Perhaps we should just bump our
version requirement for full a11y (?).
