------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Aug 18 05:31:15 +0000 2007 ------- The latest postgresql sdbc driver (v 0.7.4) that I see at http://dba.openoffice.org/drivers/postgresql/index.html doesn't work with OOo-Dev 2.3 Developer Snapshot (build OOG680_m1) I open my OpenOffice Base document with a Postgres table that works fine in OpenOffice 2.2.0 Tools->Extension Manager... Add... Choose the file postgresql-sdbc-0.7.4.zip Click "Close" Double click on my Postgres table Enter in my password Click OK I then receive the following error message: The connection to the data source "New Sample Database2" could not be established. SQL Status: HY000 The connection to the external data source could not be established. No SDBC driver was found for the given URL. A connection for the following URL was requested: sdbc:postgresql:dbname=mydb host=myhost.foo.edu One thing I noticed is that no TCP connection is even initiated.
