------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 20 14:36:02 +0000 2007 ------- Individual OOo Application Document Background Color Settings needed/wanted. Not everyone uses all apps the same way. Graphic apps (Draw/CAD/Visio and Present/Powerpoint) I always use a black background. "Normal" office apps like Excel/Calc, Word/Writer, Access/Base, etc I use a lighter background (but usually NOT 100% white, a tan simulating parchment or a lite gray.) My main peeve is with the Draw and Present apps. Best/Easiest solution is to provide a "Reverse BW Video" command on View menu in Draw. This is NOT Black and White View. It is still Color View, just reverses the DISPLAY of black and white (while still printing correctly, ie: black is printed as black, but displayed as white; White is displayed as black but not printed usually because paper is white.) Yes I can do this now in Draw and everything is fine as long as I only use text because it has an "auto" color; However other objects like lines, boxes and so on do not have "auto" colors so they disappear if they are black and the background is set black. Check out AutoCAD, TurboCAD and other mainstream Drawing apps give this reverse video option (saves the eyes and the color shades look better too!) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
