------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 27 22:19:48 +0000 2007 ------- Take a new spreadsheet document, enter some values and name one cell via Insert > Names > Define. Save the document and close it. Take a second spreatsheet document. Use Insert > Link to external Date. Browse to the first document. Wait till the URL has entered and the cell name is shown in the lower part. On my PC this takes some time. Choose the name and click OK. The value shows up correctly and updating works as expected. But now click on the linked cell and change the value. You have no indication that this cell is linked. Notice that the close x of the document has vanished and only the red x in the Window title bar is there. Save the second document. Close the document with x in title bar or with file >close. It makes no difference. OOo-Window shuts immediately. Expected behavior: Document closes, but OOo remains open with grey background. Start task manager. You see, that there is still a process soffice.bin/exe. You cannot start OOo again, because of this process. Kill it. When you now start OOo again, you get the recovery dialog with the first document. For me it looks like OOo doesn't free the linked source document, when the target document is closed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
