Which objects do you use? Only traditional objects have got corner radius, but
the knew custom shapes doesn't have this property. Therefore it makes a
difference whether you choose the rectangle, which is left on the drawing
toolbar or that rectangle, which is in the "Basic shapes". If you use one of the
new custom shapes and select it, the status bar says "Shape selected"; for a
traditional rectangle it says "Rectangle selected".
