I have observed the reported bug at work on a RedHat Enterprise Linux System. I have just tried again with my private laptop which runs OpenOffice 2.0.2 on Ubuntu Dapper, and the bug does not appear. Seems to be a strange bug that only appears on certain systems. I have some suspicions that something about the X11 fonts installation is not quite clean on our office system, maybe this is related.
