I have modified svtools to support NWF for disclosure triangles (nodes) and used it to draw native ones on MacOS. I have defined CTRL_LISTNODE and CTRL_LISTNET in salnativewidgets.hxx to draw them natively. CTRL_LISTNET is used for platforms who don't want the net. Native GTK+ code has to be written (in native part of VCL in salnativewidgets.cxx) to have native disclosure triangles on Gnome. I can't do it as I don't know GTK enough.
