------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Aug 30 13:14:51 +0000 2007 ------- Hi Our address-database is a DB2-database that we inclueded with an ODBC-Definition into base. But the database is hugh with lots of old records that are needed in the original database but only derange in OpenOffice And the field-names are coded that nobody understands. So I thought, I'd link a database-query instead of the original table to the merge-documents, using alias-names instead of the original field names and reducing the number of records. I'd also like to offer a parameter-query so that the user can chose a record by a paramater-query. All of that would work fine, but the problem is, that fields like "hidden paragraph" or "conditional text" do not work when using the databas-query. But that's essential for many records contain empty adress-fields that should be hidden when merging the fields to the documents.
