Sorry, file dialogs do not support an exclusion of files. Especially not when
it's not really clear which documents to exclude.
It is certainly clear that it doesn't make sense to add .exe or .pdf but how
about .txt? Some of those files are used as comma separated files other are not.
The file dialog cannot decide this.
BTW: This is not a mailmerge issue. The same function is used to add data
sources in the insert/fields dialog and also something similar is used in Calc.
