OK, I understand, desired is that OOo enables you to generally edit in read-only
documents, where in affect a "save as" will only be provided to keep the
protected document untouched (as it is solved in MS Word).
Currently, you have the possibility to click the "Edit" button in the toolbar -
OOo asks you if you want to create a new document based on the read-only
document.
This is not Writer-only, may also regard OO's other applications.
This issue may be related to issue 41087.
