------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 6 14:32:04 +0000 2007 ------- In the attached PPT presentation, note the text box at the top of the slide. The text box's Latin font is “Times New Roman”, and the CTL font is “David”. PPT displays the numbers "2005" in “David”, the CTL font. OOo, however, displays them in “Times New Roman”, the Latin font. In Power Point (2002), when determining the font for digits and other "weak" characters, the behavior is as follows: if they follow CTL text – they get the CTL font if they follow Latin text – they get the Latin font if they are located at the start of the string – the font is determined by text direction : CTL if the direction is RTL, Latin if the direction is LTR. OOo should imitate this behavior when importing PPT presentations. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
