------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 12 08:17:57 -0800 2005 ------- cloph: This is irrelevant. Yes, rpm is broken. Yes, you can confguire your topdir. But that should work inside the OOo builddir as obr suggested. You should *not* require OOo builders to reconfigure their epm (which incidentially isn't even allowed in some systems). On the Debian buildds you are *not* allowed to change anything in $HOME *except* the buildir, tmp and so on. You you *can't* add a hack like this. Why not call rpm with that var set to unxlngi4.pro/whatever and create BUILD etc, there? (see obrs somment about $(MISC)) OOo should and must build with standard rpm installations. And wrt your system stuff, comment, you completely miss the point. The system stuff effort is not about using the paths from system but the libs and utilities. I.e. link to the libs you already have, use the epm you already have, etc. And no, I don't consider Debian's rpm env broken, sorry. OOo should be fixed.
