------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 13 22:47:00 +0000 2007 ------- Using OOo-2.2.0 on WinXP(SP2). Am upgrading to 2.2.1 to test. This is hard to duplicate as it's only really seen when a crash occurs - though when I use the dba for more than half an hour a crash seems to happen. Entering data in a table via a form. Using save on the form doesn't write the changes to disk. The result is that when a crash occurs, even though "save" function has been used all changes are lost. Closing form and using save function in the main "base" window also doesn't write changes to disk and again a crash results in lost changes. Only way to guarranttee a write to disk is to close the database file (.odb file). For continued work this is very frustrating. I use the dba app a lot ... I lost half an hours work today, twice. Flakey "record search" function usually is the source of the crash (though failure to robustly handle field overflow errors is another common source of crashes). Will report back on 2.2.1 At present this makes OOo base only worth using by virtue of time cost in transitioning to another solution! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
