Hi,

Because I *told* you already.

of rpm?

because the debian autobuilder just taked the source and builds. You have no
control over it ad normal DD, it's fully automatic. This even means you have no
access to /home/builld/.rpmmacros or something like that and rpm isn't normally
installed their either but only installed when the package built specifified it
in their build-depends (most packaged do not need rpm), tis is because oyu want
to build in clean (only build-essential packages + needed packages for build
installed) so the buildd admin cannot change the /etc/ stuff either because rpm
is installed automatically without any intervention.

I didn't deny that. I know that. I just say you *have* to workaround it with
that patch. I don't know how tinderbox works, whether it creates a chroot or
already has one where you can change rpm etc.

Anyway, *shrugs*, You'll see how many Debian(?) users will complain about OO
building when they will build m86. The patch exists, works and should be
integrated RSN imho. I'll add that patch with to ooo-build if that's updated for
m85 and will do a cws with also if it is not going to m86 which I'd like to
really prefer...

Regards,

Rene
No reason to argue about this fact and no reason of being insulting.
