In 1.1.4 and in 2.0 beta the Paste function for bitmap images inserts the bitmap
into the document in a less-quality mode. There is the option to Paste Special
which now offers the two options: Bitmap and GDI metafile.

"Bitmap" option seems superior to the other options (default and GDI) since it
scales much better, without showing pixels upon image resizing big. I do not
know if thats the name, but "bitmap" options looks like what Windows calls
"device independent bipmaps", DIBs.

Since OOo 2.0 is supposed to ease the use for new users, I would propose to
change the default mode of Paste to what now is in Paste Special>Bitmap. GDI and
the low-resolution bitmap would remain as the options for pasting bitmaps. New
or "basic" users would expect graphics to scale up and down smoothely, and they
require that as default. Options are for advanced users, to them you can explain
*why* to use this or that option.
