I agree that deleting user edited master slides should not be deleted so easy.
But we should keep in mind that if a user just clicks through all the available
templates so see how they look, the user should not have all the loaded master
slides in his document after that.
Maybe it is possible to detect that the unused master slide has user added
content and was not just loaded from a template without any further
modification?
BTW: Isn't there a workaround by using the context menu?
