2005 -------
I have installed OpenOffice.org 2 beta on both Fedora Linux Core 2 & 3.

In each case the Nautilus directory shows .odt, .odf, and .odb files as Zip
archives, and does not display the correct OpenOffice.org icons.

In Fedora Linux Core 2, clicking on such a file brings up the FileRoller...

However, in Fedora Linux Core 3, clicking on such a file does actually cause the
relevant component of OpenOffice.org to load (if not already loaded) and 
execute!
