The Dutch OOo 2.3.0 is on the mirrors since yesterday, but the check on update
option in both OOo 2.1 and in OOo 2.21 under Windows XP still reports that there
is no newer version available.
How does the update check work anyway? Should it be sufficient to get a new
build distributed to the mirrors, or is there some specific action required to
make its availability known for update checking?
If one has unchecked "automatic updates" at installation, might this also
disable explicit checking for updates using the menu?
