------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 8 08:41:39 +0000 2007 ------- On all previous versions of Open Office I was able to open Template file as an Untitled1.ods file by just double clicking my <templatename>.odt files. However with this new version 2.3.0 the <templatename>.odt files just reopen as the <templatename>.odt file not as Untitled.ods Lets say my template file is wages.odt When I double click it, it opens as wages.odt not as my wages template as Untitled.ods awaiting input to be saved as another wages.ods file from the original template. But if I open my wages.odt file by going to........ File New Templates and Documents My Documents <templatename>.odt Then the file does open as a blank Untitled1.ods file. This is also happening with Writer template files. I have tested this occurrence on new template files to check that my old files had not upgraded properly from version 2.2 to 2.3 On the Calc forum I queried others and they said that on XP there is no problem and with Linux there is no problem. I am using Vista Ultimate 64 bit Operating system Intel core 2 cpu 6600 @2.40GHz with 2046 MB RAM Hope this is of assistance. Fantastic product you have developed.
