Thanks for your help.  Looks like two UNO files needed work.

You mention "no data in the object".  Is this one of the UNO functions returning
a length of 0 or something like that?  I opened the attachment, just to make 
sure:

1) "/content.xml" is the document body.  It refers to the graph.  It is just 3KB
since all it has is one graph and nothing else in a single <text:p> paragraph.

2) "/Object 1/content.xml" is the graph.  It is 181KB, compressed to 11KB in the
.ODT file.  I cannot display the chart in Firefox (due to the separate
stylesheet?), but it does pretty-print the XML.  Seems to be in order, a
<chart:chart> packed full of <table:table-cell> elements.  IIRC, it opened in
OOo Writer 2.2.0 Linux, and displayed the chart.  (The chart is just two sine
waves, created in OOo Calc 2.2.1 Windows.)

So anyway, should I submit a bug for not loading/parsing "./Object 1" or its
content.xml into a UNO data structure?
