------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 17 21:53:24 +0000 2007 ------- Please bear with me on this: The bare minimum to recreate this (as attached): -1 Spreadsheet document, with two sheets filled out -2 Writer documents, each with DDE link to one of the sheets -1 Chart in one of the writer documents, created from the DDE link data -1 Master document, with the chartless file first, and the charted file second. In the master document, the chart (from the second file) will display either nothing (after update) or some data relating to the DDE link in the first file. Thus, one would think master documents don't like charts...
